Turn & Learn 2017

On November 14th & 15th, Thies & Talle Management gathered for our Annual Turn and Learn Conference and Holiday Party. During the conference, we enjoyed some great activities and education sessions! That evening, Service Anniversaries were announced.  Our five-year anniversaries included: Lynn Braegelmann (Hillside Terrace), Jennifer Dobbelaire (Regional Manager), Danielle Toresdahl (Parkwood Heights), Lynn Williams (Canda Manor), Marty Borchardt (Cutters Grove Estates), Xochilt Cuadro (Sun Cliffe), Raisa Startseva (Sterling Ponds), Emelyan Stetsko (Sterling Ponds), & Joseph Ward (The Meadows).  Our ten-year anniversaries included: Michelle Hanson (Regional Manager), Gretchen Harnack (Human Resources & Payroll), Arlene Lemmer (The Bungalows), & Denise Seiberlich (Accountant).  Charles Huges (Heritage Park) was recognized for his 15 years of work at Thies & Talle.  Gary Masloski (Afton View), Kent Mortimer (Director of Compliance), & Bradley Nutzman (Woodmount) celebrated 20 years with Thies & Talle.  Carole Hydukovich (Senior Regional Manager) celebrated 30 years with Thies & Talle.  Kathleen Jones (Chesterwood) closed out the anniversary awards by celebrating 35 years with Thies & Talle. The nominees for Property of the Year for categories of Affordable and Market Rate were also announced. This year our Affordable nominees were: Afton View, Hillside Terrace, Waterford & Woodmount Townhomes, & York Manor.  The Market Rate Property of the Year Nominees were: Lakewood Hills, Parkwood Heights & Rustic Lodge, Riva Ridge, & Sterling Ponds.  Congratulations to the York Manor team, led by Property Manager Janelle Meslow, for being awarded Affordable Property of the Year, and the Sterling Ponds team, led by Property Manager Shannon Hamilton, for being awarded Market Rate Property of the Year! The next day, it was on to The Old Log Theatre for our Holiday Party lunch and the fabulous production of Life Could Be A Dream. We would like to thank everyone who attended and thank all team members company wide for their hard work to make this a very successful year!
